Applying the Masalo cuff:
Take the Masalo MED cuff and open the two Velcro fasteners. If possible, do not pull the straps out of the plastic eyelets, but they can easily be threaded back through the eyelets. Then slip the cuff over your hand.
Slide the cuff to about the middle of the forearm and close the Velcro fastener so that the forearm cuff fits snugly on the arm.
Also make sure that the small dot on the Masalo MED cuff is approximately in the middle of the crook of your elbow.
Caution: The forearm cuff should sit in the middle between your hand and elbow and must not be placed too close to the crook of your elbow. Make sure there is enough space!
As soon as you have reached the correct position of the bandage, slide the upper arm strap over your elbow and angle your arm. Now adjust the upper arm strap in this position so that it fits snugly against the upper arm when the arm is bent.
If you now move your arm into extension, you will feel the counter-tension. Depending on how you vary the settings, the relief will be more or less noticeable. It should only be possible to stretch the arm with force.
